The Backyard has one of the best grooming teams in the area! We know it's tough to find dependable groomers for your furry family members! We are fortunate to have 3 super talented and patient groomers!

Starting February 1st, The Backyard Grooming will update its grooming prices. We will also implement a no-show and same-day cancellation fee. Owners will need to pay 40% of the grooming cost before using any future grooming services here.

Vaccination Requirements
Dogs four months and older need an updated copy of these vaccinations. IF not, we can not groom your dog or cat.

Same Day Cancellation / NO Show FEE / Late FEE
Same Day cancellations or No Shows will be charged 40% of the grooming bill.
That customer will not be allowed to use our grooming services again until the bill is paid.
Late Fee's are $15 and start 15 minutes after the appointment time. After 15 minutes it is up to the groomers discretion if they can still groom the dog that day.

Kasey Corcoran
Hello! My name is Kasey Corcoran. I grew up in the area of Callaway and Detroit Lakes and currently reside in Detroit Lakes. I have been grooming since 2013, starting before I graduated high school. I love working with animals of all sorts and enjoy grooming dogs and cats to help make them feel their best and happy to meet each unique critters that come in.
My hobby is my horses and going to events to compete like endurance and barrel racing. I have 4 dogs; Zappy the Chihuahua, Zerbi the mini Aussie, Hiccup the Mutt, and Marsali the Corgi. I also have a few house kitties, some goats, and a bunny that make up my hobby farm.
Erika Kruzel
Hello Everyone! My name Erika Kruzel and I recently moved back to the Lakes area after being away since 2018. I am going on my 5th year in the dog grooming industry and am looking forward to working with all my new clients! I spend my free time outdoors, expressing my love for art & hanging out with my two Cavaliers, Halo and Zeus. I am ecstatic to be back in the area and look forward to meeting everyone through The Backyard!

Hi Everyone! My name is Amanda Gaudette. I enjoy spending time with my fanily and friends, being on the lake, fishing, hunting, traveling being outdoors with my kids Ellie (5) Dutton (2) and three dogs Hazel, Harper and Brooks. I have been grooming now for 12 years now and love what I do and the clients I have met along my journey in grooming.
